Meet the Hamilton Barnes Team!

With a rapid growing company comes a growing team! From just George and Nick in 2014, Hamilton Barnes is now 14 people strong (Including Yoshi, our Chief party planner).

Hamilton Barnes was founded 3 years ago by George Barnes and Nick Barker in London. We are a recruitment consultancy that specialises in I.T infrastructure, in particular networking based technologies.

At Hamilton Barnes we work hard to provide a consultative and customer focused recruitment solution every day. We engage with our clients and candidates to find the best fit for the job. We focus on providing a good service during the day and after working hours we enjoy to have 1…2 or maybe a few more at the pub down the road.

Recently we celebrated our 3-year anniversary and we are looking forward to many more successful years! Here’s a little introduction of the Hamilton Barnes team 

Brandon Duggan

Brandon is the latest addition to the team. He initially was only at Hamilton Barnes for two weeks to get work experience. He excelled in his tasks and got offered a job and is also part of the HB family. In his spare time he likes to play football and spend time with his friends.

Billy Holloway

Billy joined Hamilton Barnes in June 2017 and did his first deal within the first 3 weeks of working at Hamilton Barnes. In his younger years he played football on a high level and still enjoys playing football today the day. Furthermore likes spending time with his friends and is a regular gym goer.

 

Thomas Foley

Tom joined us not too long ago at the end of June and has been working very hard. He already done his first deal and we are sure many will follow. He likes spending his spare time with family and friends and as many of the guys at Hamilton Barnes Tom enjoys playing football.

 

 

 

 

 

Connor Elvins

Connor has been working at Hamilton Barnes since April 2016. He started off working alongside Natasha and James and is now working alongside George’s team. In his spare time Connor likes to mess around and go out a lot and as many of the HB team, Connor is a West Ham fan. Fun fact: he absolutely loves crisps (especially quavers), he’s known around the office as the crisp monster.

Harry Russell

Harry is originally from Essex and joined Hamilton Barnes in January 2016. He likes Football (Tottenham Hotspur fan), UFC, Boxing and the Company card.

Harry enjoys working for Hamilton Barnes because he likes the family feel within the company and that everyone is always up for going for a drink. Did you know that his favourite word is “Reem”?

Veerle Barten

Veerle joined Hamilton Barnes in August 2016 and runs our Marketing department. She’s originally from the Netherlands, studied European Studies in Maastricht and ended up in London for her graduation internship beginning 2015. Now 2.5 years down the line Veerle is still not tired of London and doesn’t plan to go home any time soon. She enjoys going out with friends, loves to go for brunch during the weekends and plays tennis a few times per week and has a soft spot for a British accent.

 

 

 

 

Ross O’Brien

Ross is in charge of Hamilton Barnes’ Contract department. He used to work with Nick our Director at another Recruitment company before Hamilton Barnes was founded. He didn’t want to miss out on another opportunity to work with Nick again and joined HB in 2015. Ross loves nothing more than eating, cooking, thinking about food, talking about food, moaning at West Ham from the terraces or on the beach in Ibiza.

Antonio Costa

Antonio decided to join Hamilton Barnes in 2015. Since then, Antonio has advanced into a Senior Network Consultancy position whilst specialising across Cisco Partners specifically. Interesting facts about Antonio, his background is made up of being Half Chinese, Half Greek Cypriot as well as being a baby model featuring in Huggies, Baby Gap and Next in his younger years. Of course Antonio is too busy working at Hamilton Barnes to pursue any modelling career now so other interests include travelling, trying new foods and drinking Hendrick’s and Tonics, preferably in the hot weather!

 

James Dean

James joined Hamilton Barnes as a Senior Consultant to grow the ISP side of the business in January 2015 after knowing the guys (Nick and George) from a previous employer. .

In his spare time, he enjoys watching boxing (He gets LOADS of banter from the guys in the office for his love for Anthony Joshua), he’s a big West Ham fan, plays squash to a really poor level and is a regular in Infernos, Clapham. He’s also a pretty big face on TV after his 3-minute stint on Alan Carr’s Grease night.

 

Natasha Pearce

Natasha started her recruitment career with Hamilton Barnes when they had only been running for three months. At that time there were only pay as you go mobile phones, an office with no windows and a tiny desk. Now a large office with a view over London and 14 people strong, Natasha feels that she made a brilliant choice joining Hamilton Barnes.

Working at Hamilton Barnes has been the most fun and rewarding role she has ever had. Natasha says that “there honestly isn’t anything better than when I have found someone a job ring me and thank me for everything I have done for them”.

Natasha’s hobbies include, traveling to different countries, adding to her trainer collection, playing and watching football and trying different types of Gin.

George Barnes

Since founding Hamilton Barnes George has been focused on Business Development, bringing on-board nearly all Cisco Gold Partners and a number of well-known financial services customers. George takes a real passion growing and nurturing the junior network consultants at Hamilton Barnes through the ranks. Always open to a beer or a few shots at the bar, this is where he does most of his business. When George is not in the office or in the pub you can usually find him chasing after his two little puppies, Yoshi & Yuki. Here is the evidence!

Nick Barker

Nick co-founded Hamilton Barnes alongside George after working together previously for 3 and a half years at a previous company. Nick has over 20 years’ experience in recruitment, the majority of which has been focused within the Network Engineering space across both contract and permanent. Nick has a strong track record in building recruitment businesses from the ground up and particularly enjoys growing and developing the team and their skills.

Nick met his wife nearly 20 years ago after he placed her in her first contract! Unfortunately, he doesn’t offer this level of service to all his customers, but he has placed over 1,000 people across the globe and has multiple recommendations for the work he has done.

Outside of work Nick spends time with his 2 daughters, frustratingly supports Arsenal and loves to travel to experience new cultures. Next on the list of places to visit is Japan, although it would be rude not to try and fit in a visit to Las Vegas beforehand!

 

Yoshi

Yoshi has been brought on-board for his internal recruitment expertise and as Chief party planner. This year he has hired a number of key hires and organised company holidays to Las Vegas, Amsterdam & Barcelona. Recently he has had a new apprentice join his ranks and is enjoying getting her up to speed on the Hamilton Barnes way!
